How it works
You point. We haul.
Five steps. You are involved in the first two and the fourth, and the crew handles the rest.
- 1
Tell us what needs to go
One line will do. "The sectional and two bed frames", or "unit 214, left furnished", or "the whole garage".
- 2
Select items or upload photos
A photograph settles in seconds what a description argues about for ten minutes, because volume is what the price is built on.
- 3
Get your estimate
A figure against your load, back before anyone is dispatched. It is free, and nothing follows from asking.
- 4
Choose your pickup time
Take a window that suits you. Same-day and next-day show up whenever the schedule can genuinely hold them.
- 5
We haul it away
Carried out from wherever it stands, sorted on the truck, and the space left swept behind us.

Homes across north, south, east and west Arlington
The commonest booking is also the plainest one. Something large is in the way, and there is no version of moving it that works with the people and the vehicle you actually have. The sectional that came up the stairs before the handrail went on. The second refrigerator that has been humming in the garage since 2014. The treadmill that became a clothes rack somewhere around the second winter.
A crew loads it, sweeps the patch of floor it was standing on, and leaves. Nothing needs dragging to the kerb beforehand, and nobody is asking you to take the heavy end of a solid-timber dresser down the hallway of a 1960s ranch house on Browning Drive.
- Single items through to whole-house clearances
- Attics, sheds and the detached garages behind the older streets
- Alley loading on the older north Arlington streets
- Curbside collections with nobody home

Apartments & move-outs
More apartment turnover than any other Junk Koala territory
Arlington has an unusually large renter population and a university inside the city limits, and with Hurst, Euless, Bedford and Irving alongside it, this territory turns over more apartment units than anywhere else the Junk Koala network covers. That is the pillar this branch is built around.
It is genuinely different work. The constraint is almost never the item — it is the stairwell, the fire lane and the turn deadline. Crews are sized for walk-up carries rather than optimistically, routes are planned before anything is lifted, and mattresses are bagged in the bedroom rather than carried openly past four other front doors.
- Second and third-floor walk-ups as standard
- Sectionals and bed frames dismantled on the landing
- Leasing offices book without the outgoing tenant
- Several units in one building cleared in a single visit

Commercial
Suites in Las Colinas, storefronts on the Arlington corridors
Commercial work is a pillar here rather than a sideline. Office suites cleared for handback in Las Colinas and along the Arlington corridors, retail units stripped between tenants, restaurant refits, and the storeroom nobody has opened since the last move.
Nearly all of it runs in the evening or across a weekend, because these buildings cannot stop trading while somebody clears a floor. Dock slots, nominated service lifts, protection in common areas and certificates of insurance filed with property management are ordinary parts of the job rather than things that get discovered at a loading bay.
- Evening and weekend working as standard
- Certificates of insurance filed in advance
- Lease handback deadlines worked back from
- One account across multiple sites

Moving & move-out
Do not pay a mover to relocate what you are about to discard
A move is priced on weight or volume, which means anything unwanted gets charged for twice — once to travel, and again when you deal with it at the far end. Clearing two or three weeks ahead means the mover surveys the house you are actually taking with you rather than the one you are leaving.
Then the other end of it: whatever is still standing in the property after the van has gone, cleared before the walk-through or the closing. In August, when Arlington moves more households than in any other month of the year, that window is worth reserving rather than gambling on.
- Pre-move clearances booked before the mover surveys
- The remainder cleared the day after the van leaves
- Apartment move-outs against a fixed lease date
- Deposit and closing deadlines worked to

For moving companies
You move what they are keeping.
We haul what they are leaving.
Every move produces a pile your crew cannot load and will not take. Rather than leaving your customer with a problem on the last morning, hand it to a partner who solves it the same day.
- Furniture the customer has decided against
- Mattresses and old appliances
- Garage and storage leftovers
- Pieces that will not fit the next place
- Last-minute disposal on moving day
- Post-move packaging and debris

Property managers & apartment communities
One account for a portfolio that turns every month
Turnovers on a deadline, belongings abandoned in a vacated unit, and the mattress that appears beside the corral the weekend somebody moves out. None of that needs a fresh quote every time — it needs an account.

Storefronts, fixtures and the handback deadline
The Mid-Cities run on strip centers, and units turn over constantly — a store closing after a final sale, a tenant moving two doors down, a landlord preparing a space for the next lease. What comes out is always the same: gondola runs, slatwall, display cases, counters, signage and a stockroom nobody scoped.
The deadline is a lease clause rather than a preference, and the cost of missing it is holdover rent. So the work goes in overnight, through service corridors where they exist and off the front where they do not, timed to avoid the neighbouring units' trade.
- Gondola, slatwall, cases and counters dismantled properly
- Store closings cleared the night trading ends
- Restaurant and hospitality fit-out
- Multi-site closures on one scheduled account

Renovation & construction
Keep the crew working. We will handle the debris.
Debris is a programming problem long before it is a waste problem. The old kitchen comes out on Tuesday, the new one is delivered Thursday, and whether the fitters can set out on Thursday morning depends entirely on what happened to the pile in between.
So the work is booked to the trade sequence — demolition out before the cabinets land, packaging out before the flooring crew starts — on houses, apartment upgrade programs, office refits, retail build-outs and live sites. Contractors put every job they have running on one account rather than quoting each pickup.
- Cabinets, countertop, tile, carpet and drywall
- Repeat pickups across a longer build
- Booked to the trade sequence rather than a rental period
- No asbestos, no chemicals and no structural demolition

Cleanouts
When the job is a whole space, not a list of items
A whole space rather than a list of items: emptied, worked through room by room, and handed back clear at whatever pace the situation genuinely allows.

Items we take
Non-hazardous, not bolted to the building, fits in a truck — it goes
- Furniture of every kind
- Mattresses and box springs
- Appliances, including refrigerators
- Electronics and televisions
- Garage, attic and shed contents
- Yard waste and outdoor debris
- Office furniture and IT hardware
- Retail fixtures and shelving
- Restaurant and hospitality furniture
- Renovation and construction debris
And the short list of what we cannot
These need a Tarrant or Dallas County household hazardous waste drop-off, or a licensed contractor. Set them aside and the crew works around them.
- Paint, solvents, stains and thinners
- Motor oil, fuel and antifreeze
- Pool and garden chemicals
- Propane and pressurised cylinders
- Asbestos-containing material
- Medical and biological waste
Where it actually goes
Sorted for donation and recycling, without a number attached
Plenty of what comes off a truck should not go to landfill. Usable furniture, working appliances, metal, cardboard and electronics all have better destinations, and where an item is genuinely in donatable condition and you would rather it went that way, tell us and it is kept separate.
What we will not do is publish a diversion percentage. Every load is different, receiving organisations set their own acceptance rules, and a number this branch has not measured is worth nothing to you. Regulated items — refrigerant-bearing appliances and electronics in particular — are routed to facilities equipped to handle them, because that is a legal requirement rather than a preference.

Pricing
Priced against the job in front of the crew
How much of the truck it fills, what it weighs, how much work it takes to get it there, and whether any of it has a disposal route of its own. Four inputs, no rate card, and photographs are what make the answer accurate.
- Volume — how much of the truck bed it fills
- Weight — transfer stations bill by the ton
- Labor — floors, landings, carry distance, dismantling
- Handling — refrigerant, e-waste and mattress routes
Arlington neighborhoods
Downtown to Viridian, the lake to the Entertainment District
Arlington runs to about a hundred square miles, and a clearance in one part of it barely resembles a clearance in another. These are the districts where that gap is wide enough to be worth writing down.
- Downtown ArlingtonThe university blocks, Main Street and the historic core. Dense rentals and small commercial.
- North ArlingtonMid-century ranch housing, long tenure, deep garages and estate work.
- South ArlingtonNewer subdivisions, dense apartment corridors and the retail around The Parks.
- Entertainment DistrictHotels, restaurants, venues and commercial property, scheduled around the event calendar.
- East ArlingtonMixed older housing, high rental share, and business corridors toward Grand Prairie.
- West ArlingtonEstablished streets around the Pantego and Dalworthington Gardens enclaves. Larger lots.
- Viridian & Northeast ArlingtonThe city's newest housing. Move-in debris, cardboard and construction waste.
- Lake ArlingtonLakeside neighborhoods with larger lots, outdoor equipment and storm debris.

Arlington FAQ
Questions we get asked most
Still not answered? Call the Arlington branch on (972) 093-0938 and ask.
- How much does junk removal cost in Arlington?
- It is priced by the volume your load takes in the truck, adjusted for weight, the labor to get it out and any material that needs specific handling. Photographs through the quote form are the fastest route to a real number for your actual job, and it costs nothing to ask.
- Does anything need to be outside before the crew arrives?
- No — the carrying is what you are booking. Items can be on a third floor, at the back of a detached garage, up a pull-down attic ladder or at the far end of a lot. Where a load is already stacked at the kerb that works too, costs slightly less because it removes most of the labour, and does not require you to be there.
- Can you take furniture out of an upstairs apartment?
- Yes, and it is the single most common job this branch does. A large share of Arlington rental stock is walk-up with no elevator, so stair carries are the standard job. Tell us the floor and whether the stairwell turns when you book, so the crew is sized for it.
- What areas around Arlington do you serve?
- Arlington itself plus Irving, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Grapevine, Euless, Bedford, Hurst, Southlake, Colleyville, Pantego, Dalworthington Gardens and Kennedale. Fort Worth, Dallas and the northern suburbs are covered by other Junk Koala branches.
- Can apartment managers schedule multiple units at once?
- Yes, and it is considerably more efficient than booking them one at a time. Send the unit list and they are cleared in one scheduled visit against your turn deadline. Properties turning units regularly run this on an account with agreed rates.
- Is this households only, or do businesses use it too?
- Commercial is roughly half of what this branch does. Office suites in Las Colinas and along the Arlington corridors, strip-center retail, restaurants, hotels in Grapevine and the Entertainment District, apartment communities, property portfolios and contractors — nearly all of it on an account with agreed rates and one monthly invoice rather than a quote per job.
- Can you remove renovation debris?
- Yes — cabinets, countertop, tile, carpet, drywall, trim and fixtures, cleared between trades rather than only at the end. Renovation material is dense, so weight rather than volume tends to lead the price. Asbestos-containing material needs a licensed abatement contractor.
- What will you not take?
- Paint, solvents, fuel, oils, chemicals, pool supplies, propane cylinders, loose batteries, asbestos-containing material and medical or biological waste. Those need a county household hazardous waste drop-off or a licensed contractor rather than a junk truck.
