Three conditions, and almost everything satisfies them: it fits in a truck, it is not hazardous, and it is not part of the building. What follows is ordinary work. The short list of things we cannot legally carry is on this page as well, because that belongs before a booking rather than after one.

The short list, stated plainly
Each of these needs either a county household hazardous waste drop-off or a licensed contractor. Pull them into one corner before the crew arrives and everything else proceeds normally — their presence is not a reason to postpone a job.

FAQ
Questions about what we take
- Is anything simply too large?
- Seldom, and when it happens the obstacle is the route rather than the object. If a piece truly will not leave in one piece, you hear what dismantling it involves before anybody does anything that cannot be undone.
- Why is paint off the list?
- Because they are classed as household hazardous waste, and a mixed junk load has no lawful way to carry them. Both Tarrant and Dallas County run free residential drop-off programmes built for precisely this material.
- What about tires?
- Tires have their own recycling route and a per-unit handling charge, so they sit outside an ordinary load. Mention how many you have at booking and you will get a plain answer rather than a discovery on the day.
- Does working furniture get donated rather than dumped?
- Yes — flag the specific pieces at booking and they travel separately rather than being sorted on the truck with everything else. What we cannot promise is acceptance, because every receiving charity sets its own condition standards and that call is theirs.
- What about a hot tub, a piano or a gun safe?
- Sometimes. It turns on access, on weight, and on whether the thing comes apart — a hot tub behind a standard gate is usually cut down on site, and a piano depends almost entirely on the stairs. Photographs get you a straight yes or no before you book rather than on the morning.
